Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza

 Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza:


 Ingredients:

For Pizza Dough 

  • All Purpose Flour ½ kg
  •  Semolina ½ cup Yeast 1 sachet
  •  Sugar 1 tsp
  •  Egg 1 
  • Baking Powder 2 tsp 
  • Salt to taste 

For Pizza 

  • Topping Boiled Pepperoni or Sausages 1 packet 
  • Pizza Sauce 1 cup 
  • Crushed Black Pepper ½ tsp 
  • Onion ( Round Slice) 
  • 1 Tomatoes (Round Slices) 
  • 2 Mushrooms 
  • ½ cup Black or Green Olives 
  • ½ cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese 
  • 400 grams Oregano 
  • ½ tsp Butter as needed

 Method:

For dough: 

  • Take Luke warm water add sachet of yeast and sugar mix it well leave it for 15 minutes.
  • Take a mixing bowl all purpose flour, salt, baking powder, semolina and add yeast mixture mix it well and make a dough.
  • Cover the dough and place at hot place for 3-4 hours.
  • Now take it out the dough and fold with the help of hands. Now dough is ready.

For pizza: 

  • Take deep pizza pan grease with the butter. 
  • Roll out dough and set in pizza pan.Spread pizza sauce, 
  • sprinkle crushed black pepper, oregano and sliced tomatoes, boiled pepperoni or sausages, sliced onion, mushrooms on pizza dough.
  • Top with grated mozzarella cheese followed by black or green olives and press it.
  • Bake it in preheated oven at 180 degree C for 15- 18 minutes.
  • Take out pizza pan and brush pizza with butter and bake it again for 1-2 minutes. 
  • Serve hot.
